Vision
The vision of Living Hope Christian Academy (LHCA) is for orphaned and vulnerable children in Zambia to be transformed through Christ’s love and excellent education into fully devoted Christ-followers who are full of grace and truth, glorifying God in all things, proclaiming His Gospel and seeking to end poverty, corruption, and injustice.
Mission
The mission of LHCA is to glorify God through excellence in education. Fostering life, love and leadership as an institution full of grace and truth, LHCA endeavors to enable each student to achieve his or her God-given potential.
Life
Because God is the author, sustainer, and protector of Life, LHCA is committed to fostering life in all ways including education, athletics, and the arts.
Love
Because Love is personified in Jesus Christ, LHCA is committed to loving God above all things and our neighbors as ourselves.
Leadership
Because Jesus was the greatest leader, LHCA will follow his example of love, service, and sacrifice to establish tomorrow’s leaders.
Human Dignity
Because all people bear the image of God and have inherent value, LHCA is committed to bringing the hope and honor of being a child of the Heavenly Father to children who may have no earthly father.
Grace
Because Jesus is “full of grace and truth”, LHCA will provide grace even as Jesus did, knowing its power to transform lives.
Truth
Because Jesus is “full of grace and truth”, LHCA will treasure truth as necessary for life, wisdom, and worship.
Culture
Because God has created a diversity of cultures and peoples, LHCA will foster local culture and tradition under the authority of Christ and His Word.
