Our Current Project in Zambia, Africa
Today, LHI's Zambian staff includes a Director and five house mothers who help maintain our rental property housing 20 children. LHI currently has an investment account of $100,000 and has sufficient financial support to maintain operations of our staff and children.
Now with 40 acres of land 10 miles South of Ndola, Zambia, we are ready to grow and move ahead with our building plans. We want to use this land to build a school for 200 hundred children, a medical clinic, a church, and provide farmland among other things listed and pictured below.
Based on our budget and the weather in Zambia (exterior projects will probably be stopped during the rainy season from November to February), our project timeline spans the course of 4 years and is divided into 4 phases:
Phase 1
|
Phase 2
|
Phase 3
|
Phase 4

Here are some views of the completed project:

An estimated $1.5 million is needed to complete the entire complex. With the necessary funds, the time needed to complete our community could be cut in half and completed in 2 years.
